Welcome to my little corner of creativity! I’m Brittany Barton, the designer and maker behind Barton Design Studio in San Diego.

I love turning beautiful materials into useful things with personality. My bags are made in small batches, with rich leathers, playful linings, and details that let you make the look your own. Think everyday function with a little unexpected fun.

The studio is also home to custom sewing, marine canvas and upholstery, repairs, and the occasional costume project. I enjoy the challenge of bringing an idea to life or giving a well-loved piece a fresh start.
